Binance Blockchain Week 2022: Event Summary
Two weeks ago, Binance returned with the first physical edition of Binance Blockchain Week since 2019. The event was hosted in Dubai, from March 28 to 30.Â

Binance Blockchain Week 2022 featured three days of exclusive programming, keynote speeches, live panels, and fireside chats. The industryâs biggest names and most daring innovators were invited to share their insights and experiences with the community.Â
The event was fully sold out. We had over 2500 physical attendees, and recorded more than 1.5M livestream views.Â
Day 1 of the event covered âCrypto Ecosystem Growth - Adoption, Industry Building, & User Safetyâ. We were honored to have His Excellency Helal Saeed Almarri, Director-General of Dubaiâs Department of Economy and Tourism, give a keynote speech to open the ceremony. He spoke about the important role played by regulators and governments in enabling the right ecosystems for innovation to flourish. Day 1 also included speakers from Chainalysis, Dubai International Financial Center, Galaxy Digital Holdings, Elrond, IOHK, Polygon, Â QTUM, SM Entertainment, Syscoin, Trust Wallet, and UN World Food Programme Innovation Accelerator.Â
Day 2 of the event was about âNavigating the NFT, GameFi, & Metaverse Worldâ. We invited speakers that are well-known within the blockchain space, such as Animoca Brands, ANKR, Binance NFT, Messari, Reef, The Sandbox, and WAX. Speakers from Alpine F1 team, Arowana Sports, Giants Gaming, Hypebeast, and Urban Roosters also spoke about how crypto and blockchain can improve user experience within their respective industries.Â
Lastly, on Day 3, the programme was centered around âMastering the Essentials of Crypto Investment & Tradingâ. Mr Khalifa Al Jaziri, Commercial Affairs Regulatory Sector Projects Advisor in UAEâs Ministry of Economy, gave the opening keynote speech where he spoke about the directions and initiatives that the UAE government has been making to support the FinTech sector. Day 3 also featured speakers from Amber Group, Antler, BlockFi, Forbes, Nexo, and TRON DAO.Â
