Bolivia’s central bank (BCB) lifted the ban on #Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies on June 26, 2024.
Domestic banks can now engage in cryptocurrency transactions, but crypto is not considered legal tender, and businesses are not required to accept it. The BCB plans to educate the public about cryptocurrency risks.

Iran Officially Unveils Central Bank Digital Currency Project
