According to Odaily, Michael Egorov, the founder of Curve Finance (CRV), has clarified the recent hacking incident involving UwU Lend. He explained that the event did not exploit Curve Finance itself, but rather took advantage of a separate project, UwU Lend.

Egorov detailed that the hackers took CRV from UwU, deposited it into Curve's LlamaLend platform, and then disappeared with the funds, leaving their debt in the system. He emphasized measures to prevent future exploitation of vulnerabilities, suggesting that UwU Lend re-verify all contracts and collaborate with excellent security auditors in an effort to recover losses.
