❗️ Superchain now supports third-tier chains through OP Stack

🌐 Optimism has announced that third-tier (L3) chains can now join the Superchain ecosystem leveraging the OP Stack.

⛓ It is noted that third-tier developers who join Superchain will gain access to retroactive funding, airdrops, grant programs, as well as a vast network of developers.

🔍 Furthermore, to facilitate the integration of third-tier chains, Optimism has introduced two new features:

🪙 Custom gas tokens, which allow chains to design their own transaction fees.

⚖️ Plasma Mode — a solution that allows chains to choose their own level of data availability (DA).

✅ Currently, the price of $OP is $2.58.
