According to Odaily, a survey commissioned by digital asset infrastructure Zumo and conducted by Focaldata reveals that over a third of young people in the UK consider cryptocurrency an important issue in the upcoming elections. The study found that 34% of individuals aged 18-24 and 25-34 believe that the development of the cryptocurrency industry should be a priority for national politicians.

Nick Jones, founder and CEO of Zumo, commented on the findings, stating that as cryptocurrency enters the mainstream, the survey results show that young people in the UK want it to also enter the political agenda. He suggested that given the widespread turmoil in the traditional financial system, the UK should support alternative financial solutions rather than panic and compare it to gambling.
