According to Foresight News, BtcTurk, one of Turkey's largest cryptocurrency exchanges, announced that it was targeted by a cyber attack on June 22. The attack affected the hot wallet balances of 10 different cryptocurrencies, although the majority of assets were securely stored in cold wallets.
BtcTurk assured that its financial situation is robust enough to cover the losses from the attack, and user assets will not be affected. Currently, BtcTurk has temporarily suspended all cryptocurrency deposit and withdrawal operations while the team conducts a thorough investigation. The incident may be related to a large AVAX transfer that occurred on the same day.
