According to Odaily, Sun Yuchen, a prominent figure in the blockchain industry, has made a significant investment in two PT tokens. Seven hours ago, he spent 15,000 ETH, equivalent to approximately 57.3 million USD, to purchase these tokens.
The tokens, which are due to expire on June 27, were bought from LRT. Sun Yuchen invested 10,000 ETH to acquire 10,097 PT-weETH tokens, which can be exchanged for weETH on a 1:1 basis upon expiration. He also spent 5,000 ETH to buy 5031.1 PT-pufETH tokens, which can similarly be exchanged for pufETH on a 1:1 basis upon expiration.
In the past two days, Sun Yuchen has spent a total of 33,000 ETH on PT tokens from Pendle, due to expire on June 27. Upon expiration, he stands to gain approximately 348.9 ETH, equivalent to about 1.33 million USD.
