Frequently Asked Questions on Binance Referral Mode

2022-11-18 14:29

1. I have referred a friend to register a Binance account using my referral link. When will I receive the $100 trading fee rebate voucher?

When your referred friend completes cumulative deposits of more than $50 within 14 days after registration, both you and your friend will receive a $100 equivalent trading fee rebate voucher within 48 hours.

To redeem your voucher, you must complete Identity Verification. The voucher must be redeemed within 7 days via [Rewards Hub] after distribution. Otherwise, the voucher will expire. For more details please refer to How to Complete Identity Verification for a Personal Account?

2. My friend has completed the $50 trade deposit requirement, so why have I still not received the reward?

There are several reasons you may not have received your referral reward:

1. The reward distribution is still in progress:

Rewards are distributed within 48 hours after your referred friends complete the deposit task. For example, if your referred friend completes the deposit task on 2024-07-25 at 14:00 (UTC), the rewards for both of you will be distributed by 2024-07-27 at 14:00 (UTC). Please check again after this time.

2. Deposit not made through supported channels:

Ensure that your referred friend completed the deposit through one of the following supported channels:

Note: Deposits made via third-party payment methods or internal transfers from other Binance accounts do not count toward the $50 requirement.

3. Deposit task not completed within 14 days:

The deposit must be made within 14 days of your friend’s registration. Deposits made after this period are not considered valid.

4. Deposit amount is $50 or less:

Only deposits greater than $50 count toward completing the task. Ensure your friend’s deposit exceeds this amount.

5. Risk assessment failure:

Binance reserves the right to disqualify and revoke rewards for participants who engage in dishonest or abusive activities during the promotion, including but not limited to registering from the same IP or device, bulk-account registrations to farm additional bonuses, and engaging in unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activities.

3. How can I use the trading fee rebate voucher?

After receiving the voucher, go to [Reward Hub] to redeem it within seven days. Please note that all the trading fee rebate vouchers are valid for 14 days once activated. Following the activation, any rebate earned from trading fees will be credited to your Spot Wallet by 23:59:59 of the following day.

Effective September 19, 2024, the $100 trading fee voucher obtained through the Referral Program will no longer be applicable for API trading.

For more information on how to redeem your voucher, please refer to How to Redeem Trading Fee Rebate Voucher and Platform Fee Rebate Voucher.

4. Are there any limitations on the rewards I can receive?
As a new referral who registers via Referral Mode and completes the deposit task, you can only receive the $100 trading fee rebate voucher once.

If you want to earn more $100 trading fee rebate vouchers, you can start your own referral journey as a referrer by inviting your friends to join Binance. The more friends you invite, the more vouchers you can earn. There is no limit on how many vouchers you can receive as a referrer.

5. Can I still receive the commission rebate from friends I referred through Referral Mode?

No, you can’t. Each user can only be referred through one mode. If you invite friends using your Referral link, you will not receive commission rebates from their trading. Conversely, if you invited friends using your Referral Pro link, you will earn commission from their trades, but neither you nor your referred friends will receive the $100 trading fee rebate voucher as a reward.

6. Why aren't my referrals showing in my display records?

If your referrals are not appearing in your display records, consider the following possible reasons:

  • Referral Pro mode: Invitees who registered through the Referral Pro mode will not appear in Referral Mode.
  • Non-referral registration: Invitees who have successfully registered without a referral will not be displayed. This page only shows users who registered through referral activities.
  • Time-limited referral campaigns: Invitees who joined through a time-limited referral campaign using a referral code like 'GRO_xxx' will not be displayed here. They will be shown under the time-limited referral campaign section, not the Referral Mode section.
  • Failed referral relationship: The referral relationship between invitees and inviters may have failed to bind. Unfortunately, no corrective actions can be taken once the new user has registered. Possible reasons for this include:
    • Invitees may have used other referral codes to establish their referral relationships.
    • Invitees may have forgotten to use your referral link or input your referral code during registration.
  • Account breach of terms and conditions: If the invitee's account is in breach of Binance’s terms and conditions, the referral relationship cannot be applied, and the referral will not show in your records.
