Is $API3 going to replace #WAVES ?

Both projects seem to be providing similar services (i.e. #WEB3 & connceting data to the blockchain.). So now that #WAVES has been delisted, does that mean the whales of #WAVES are accumulating $API3 ?

I think it is worth the risk to buy some $API3 at this level $1.80-2.30 just in case it makes a monstrous rally like #WAVES did in the beginning.
