The biggest AIRDROP of 2024 could take place this week and here's what you need to know ahead
Today, zkSync made several announcements regarding the distribution of ZK tokens as well as the establishment of ZK Nation - an official governance DAO of the zkSync Layer 2 project. ZK Nation will consist of 3 main components:
1. Token Assembly: ZK token holders will authorize delegates (Assembly) to participate in voting. Delegates will propose, consider & approve proposals that affect the zkSync ecosystem such as tokens, governance systems,...
2. Guardians: The zkSync project community will elect 5 members as Guardians - people who help protect the values ââof the zkSync network by exercising veto power, proposing or approving emergency network actions zkSync.
3. Security Council: A council consisting of 12 people who are leading technical experts worldwide. They will have the right to freeze the zkSync platform in case the network encounters a security threat or serious error that requires an immediate upgrade.
The ZK token is expected to have important functions in shaping & developing ZK Nation as well as ZKsync. Announcement on use cases & distribution of ZK tokens will be announced this week!
