According to ChainCatcher, Linea released an update on the Velocore incident on the X platform. Linea pointed out that the current network is secure and only affects third-party DApps. When the attack occurred, the Velocore team could not be contacted temporarily, so the sorter operation was suspended.

Linea emphasized: "Most L2s, including Linea, still rely on centralized technical operations, which can be used to protect ecosystem participants. Linea's core value is a permissionless and censorship-free environment, so we did not make this decision rashly."
