Binance.US reports that Changpeng Zhao has left all management positions of the American crypto platform and has lost the tools to influence the management of the company. The administration of Binance.US reported that Changpeng Zhao has transferred his management authority, including voting rights, by entering into a verification agreement. This move deprives Zhao of the opportunity to influence the business management of the site and transfers his interest in the company to a purely economic plane. The head of Binance.US Norman Reed (Norman Reed) addressed the users of the platform with a statement that the events that caused the departure of Changpeng Zhao (Changpeng Zhao) from all management positions will not affect the company's operational activities and its financial stability.
“Binance.US is led by an experienced former management team. We are well capitalized to successfully build and grow our platform, while maintaining a primary commitment to the interests of our customers. We also do not have any pending enforcement issues with the US Department of Justice, FinCEN, OFAC or the CFTC,” Reed added.
