In terms of the trading volume of Bitcoin and Ethereum options in April, both hit historical highs again in April, with Bitcoin options trading reaching a new high of US$47.3 billion, up 1.2%; Ethereum options trading reaching a new high of US$26.32 billion, up 25.4%. However, Bitcoin options open interest continued to fall, down 15.5%, and Ethereum open interest also fell, down 7.1%.
In terms of futures, the average monthly trading volume of Ethereum futures fell to US$691 billion in April, a decrease of 22.6%. The open interest of Bitcoin futures fell by 1.6% in April, and the open interest of Ethereum futures fell by 17.7%; in terms of futures trading volume, Bitcoin futures trading volume fell by 21.38% in April, falling to US$1.59 trillion.
