Hong Kong-based Bitcoin Exchange Decided to Cut Off Its Relationship with Binance!

Major crypto exchange Haskey has changed its policies.

Hashkey, one of the most important cryptocurrency exchanges based in Hong Kong, recently made an important decision. Hashkey, which previously announced that it would only privilege Binance and allow crypto deposits and withdrawals from Binance-related crypto wallets, announced that it has reversed this decision.

With this decision, which will come into force on May 10, Hashkey will completely close transfers from third-party crypto exchanges.

The important Hong Kong-based crypto exchange included the following words in its announcement on the subject:

“Dear User/Customer,

Due to a change in our policy, effective May 10, 2024 00:00 UTC+8, HashKey Exchange will not allow any cryptocurrency deposits from Binance-associated wallet addresses.

Deposits and withdrawals to whitelisted crypto wallet addresses are not affected by this decision.

Thank you for your understanding."

Although the reason for this decision has not been disclosed yet, it is possible that regulatory authorities in Asia pressured Haskey to take such a step.
