What do you know about NFT?
What is the story of the most expensive digital artwork in history?
NFT is an abbreviation for Non-Fungible Token, which is a digital asset - it may be a photo, a video, a piece of music, a trading card, or anything else of which a digital copy can be made - that is owned by only one person, who is the only one allowed to use it. He may transfer its ownership to another person, as it is unique and cannot be owned by more than one person, like your fingerprint.
The story begins when the American graphic designer Michael Joseph Winkleman, nicknamed (Beeple), began working on the album Everyday, which is to design and draw a piece of digital art every day for 5,000 days. These works were comedic art using popular characters, and he believed that this behavior would strengthen and strengthen his skill in digital design. He actually began designing the first digital image, starting on May 1, 2006, and finished the entire album on December 1, 2021. Then he collected these 5,000 images into one image called (The First 5000Days). The work was displayed at the Christfors Digital Works auction, and the Singaporean programmer, Vignesh Sundareson, created it. He purchased that image for 42,329 Ethereum coins, which is equivalent to 69.3$ million dollars ($69 million and 300 thousand dollars), making it the highest digital work of art and the fourth most expensive work of art in history.
