All of the best traders/analysts I know share one thing in common:

They all understand that the charts are the truth. ALL of the answers, are in the charts and the data.

Narratives come and go, they end up appearing just in time - to explain what the chart foresaw weeks/months or even years in advanced.

Those who understand this concept will do well. Those who have yet to learn the truth within this, almost certainly have more learning to do before they will earn.

The only time you will see me talk about narratives is in an attempt to try and forecast how a narrative will form that will seek to explain what the chart suggests is coming.

More than anything, it's mental masturbation. I enjoy thinking and forecasting.

BUT, most people have ZERO business with narratives. The overwhelming majority of people get lost in them. It's the very reason most will roundtrip everything.

Maybe you'll make money this time, or maybe you'll have to wait several more years.

But sooner or later if you want to make money, you'll be forced to realize:

The charts are the truth.
