Altcoins Season. The Altseason or Altcoins season is a period of time in which altcoins outperform Bitcoin. During an Altseason, Bitcoin's dominance (its market share) decreases, while Altcoins, especially major Altcoins, increase in value. I see it very difficult if not impossible for this year that the altcoins season could come. It could only happen with the SEC approval of Ethereum ETFs, something that in my opinion will not happen, at least not this year, as I indicated in an article about the approval of ETH ETFs, a large number of US Senators oppose it. And so they referred it to the SEC.
For the time being and for the remainder of 2024, bitcoin ETFs will continue to lead the way in the rise of the BTC price, and their expansion globally remains to be seen, that will take the season away from altcoins.
So I see the arrival of the alternate currencies season as very difficult, I would say that several will happen. The bitcoin will continue its reign
