🚨 Former FTX boss Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) was found guilty of fraud last year and will be sentenced next month. His lawyers are seeking 63-78 months as a 'fair' sentence, according to a court filing filed Tuesday.

💼 Bankman-Fried's lawyers objected to the Presentence Investigation Report (PSR), which recommended a 100-year prison sentence, calling it "grotesque".

📌 Lawyers argued that "an appropriate method of achieving a fair sentence" should be by considering a level of crime set on the basis of "zero loss". This would provide a “guidance window of 63-78 months.”

🙏 The attorneys stated that considering all factors, “a sentence that would quickly return Sam to a productive role in society, including Sam's charitable work and commitment to others, must be consistent with the sentencing intent.”
