According to ChainCatcher, Namada, a Layer1 blockchain focusing on multi-chain privacy, proposed to airdrop its upcoming Namada token NAM to Zcash (ZEC) holders. Among them, ZEC holders who choose to claim NAM anonymously will receive more airdrops than ZEC holders who claim it transparently.

Both Namada and Zcash use a zero-knowledge proof mechanism that allows transactions to be verified without revealing the sender, recipient, or transaction amount.

The Anoma Foundation, the foundation behind Namada, said that the project will be launched on the mainnet in May 2023, and the exact time and mechanism of the airdrop will be finalized after that. The foundation also manages Anoma, an independent privacy protocol. (CoinDesk)
