3️⃣ Torrevieja: The administration of Torrevieja, a city in the Spanish province of Alicante, has announced a project for the digital transformation of the municipality. As part of this initiative, local businesses will be allowed to accept cryptocurrency payments. The project is carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce of the city council, as well as the Association of Small and Medium Traders. The authorities aim to turn Torrevieja, with its population of 82,000 people, into the first cryptocurrency-friendly European city. 💳
