Social network Reddit is planning an initial public offering (IPO) in March, after more than three years of working with IPO advisors.
During the IPO, the company plans to sell about 10% of its shares, and their price will be announced at the time of placement. Reddit was valued at $10 billion after its latest funding round in 2021.
If plans come to fruition, it will be the first major social media IPO since Pinterest went public in 2019. Reddit was founded in 2005 and has since become a popular online forum where people discuss various topics. Additionally, Reddit is known for its interest in new technologies such as Web3 and artificial intelligence.
However, IPO plans may be changed or delayed, as has happened in the past. #reddit #IPO
