The central challenge facing our world today is its widespread apathy, an indifference that often prevents us from recognizing and valuing significant innovations at their crucial moment. A prominent example of this is the rise of Bitcoin in 2009. Many of us, in retrospect, wish we had paid attention to those visionaries who talked about its disruptive potential. I clearly remember how, years ago, an acquaintance mentioned that Bitcoin would become the predominant currency globally. Unfortunately, that was the only time I heard about Bitcoin back then, and I didn't give it due importance or take the time to research it further.

This experience highlights a common pattern: when we encounter a revolutionary technology, something that has the potential to radically transform the world we know, we strive to share our enthusiasm and knowledge. However, we often encounter an apathetic or incredulous reception. People seem to be "asleep", indifferent to these advances, or even look at us as if we were raving about our passion for these innovations.

My own journey with blockchain technology exemplifies this situation. Since discovering it a few years ago, my admiration and understanding of its powerful functionality has only grown. I have had the opportunity to apply this knowledge in the practical field, assisting a company in making international payments. This experience has been revealing: blockchain eliminates geographical barriers and expedites transactions at an impressive speed. It is a tool that transcends borders, capable of executing operations in a matter of seconds, a feature that is not only efficient but also revolutionary.

In short, although we often face indifference or skepticism when introducing emerging technologies, it is crucial to persevere in our mission to educate and share these innovations.
