PANews reported on March 1 that according to official news, the stablecoin trading project Platypus Finance has launched a portal that allows users to view the compensation they can receive. The project said that the first batch of compensation will begin in March. According to previous news, the French National Police has arrested and summoned two suspects who attacked Platypus. Platypus previously promised to repay at least 63% of the funds to users. On February 16, Platypus was attacked, and hackers exploited a vulnerability in Platypus' solvency check mechanism to steal about $9.2 million in digital assets, causing its native stablecoin USP to decouple from the US dollar.
