🚨 Blockchain developer Murat Çeliktepe lost $500 from his MetaMask wallet in a scam on LinkedIn disguised as a real job offer.

• The scammer asked Çeliktepe to download the code from two npm packages hosted on GitHub named "web3_nextjs" and "web3_nextjs_backend" and fix the errors.

• Unfortunately, shortly after following the instructions, he discovered that the developer's MetaMask wallet had been emptied and more than $500 had been fraudulently withdrawn from his account. 😱

• Following the incident, Çeliktepe appealed to the community for help and community members put forward theories about how the attack took place.
