According to BlockBeats, on February 7, Binance announced that it would airdrop $100 (1,883 Turkish liras) worth of BNB to users living in areas severely affected by the earthquake in Turkey. User identification will be based on proof of address (POA) completed before February 6 in 10 cities that were significantly affected by the earthquake, including: Kahramanmaraş, Kilis, Diyarbakır, Adana, Osmaniye, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Adıyaman, Malatya and Hatay. The total donation is expected to be approximately $5 million (or 94 million Turkish liras). Binance Charity has also published a public donation address for anyone to donate. Donations to the Turkey Earthquake Relief Fund will be accepted in the form of BTC, ETH, BNB, BUSD, and XRP.
