According to Cointelegraph, a group of NFT holders sued Eden Gallery, accusing it of failing to deliver on its promise to provide holders with a private club based on the Metaverse. The Meta Eagle Club series raised a total of approximately $13 million and issued 12,000 NFTs.

The group claims that despite updates from the team stating that they were working on building the Meta Eagle Club, no substantial efforts were actually made. The lawsuit also alleges that the project developers have no experience in blockchain development.

Christian Thompson, chief information security officer at Mysten Labs, said at the Future Blockchain Summit in Dubai that games are a testing ground for developers to explore Web3 technologies such as artificial intelligence and NFTs.

The Web3 game (Off The Grid) topped the free game charts on the Epic Games store. The game is based on the Avalanche subnet GUNZ and allows players to mint NFTs and use them as in-game items.
