According to TechFlow, on August 9, Ripple officials warned users on social media to beware of scams. Since Ripple won the case on Wednesday, there has been an increase in fraudulent activities related to Ripple.
Ripple reminds users to be wary of accounts impersonating Ripple, accounts impersonating executives, or other behaviors that promote "XRP Giveaways" or "XRP Airdrops." Ripple and its executives will never ask users to send funds anywhere.
