According to Odaily Planet Daily, cLabs, the core developer of the Celo blockchain, has decided to use OP Stack to develop its second-layer blockchain. OP Stack is the main toolkit for developing chains in the Optimism ecosystem. The company plans to deploy the Celo Layer 2 testnet in the summer of 2024 after another round of community voting.
