According to TechFlow, the crypto wallet MetaMask announced that it will launch a default security feature for mobile applications and extension users to alert malicious transactions. The security alert was first launched on the Ethereum mainnet through an extension at the end of last month, but is now available to mobile and extension users on the following networks: Linea, BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism and Avalanche. In addition, MetaMask will run a simulation of each transaction locally on the user's machine without sharing each transaction and signature request with external vendors, ultimately protecting its users' data.
