According to Shenzhen TechFlow, the Human Institute has launched the Humanity Protocol, a privacy-preserving biometric palm recognition protocol for verifying Web3 identities. According to a press release shared by Cointelegraph, Humanity Protocol launched on February 20 on the Polygon Chain Development Kit (CDK) testnet, which was developed in partnership with Animoca Brands and Polygon Labs. Humanity Protocol was co-founded by Balázs Némethi and Chung Yin to provide a less invasive alternative to biometric verification methods such as iris scanning.
