According to CoinDesk, crypto activist investor Diogenes Casares, who has gained notoriety for fighting decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) such as Aragon, is now creating his own company, Stream Protocol. This is a trading platform that he plans to build into a decentralized perpetual swap exchange. Currently, Stream Protocol is known as a "decentralized market maker" that can generate returns for user deposits without exposing users to directional risk. Casares plans to use this product to eventually create his own perpetual swap exchange, which he said will be more capital efficient than the current largest perpetual swap exchanges such as GMX and Hyperliquid.
