According to TechFlow, Pyth Network has initiated a proposal vote for "PIP-1: Pass the Pyth DAO Charter". Community members who have pledged $PYTH can now participate in this vote through Pyth Governance.
The proposal aims to establish rules and procedures for PIP submission and voting, and recommends the establishment of two committees: the Pythian Committee and the Price Feed Committee, which are responsible for voting and implementing certain operational PIPs defined in the proposed charter, respectively. The proposal also lists a series of values and principles of the Pyth DAO community, centered on ownership, governance, and inclusiveness to achieve the long-term interests of Pyth DAO. If the proposal is successfully passed, Pyth DAO's governance, operations, and processes will have a clear framework and will be able to submit subsequent Pyth Improvement Proposals ("PIPs").
The voting started at 2:00 am Beijing time today and the window will be open for 7 days. Currently, the proposal has received 222,069,021 votes in favor, accounting for 99.5% of the total votes.
