According to the Daily Planet, on the second day of the trial between the Crypto Open Patent Alliance (COPA) and Craig Wright, Craig Wright denied forging evidence that he was Satoshi Nakamoto. The British judge investigated the key evidence provided by Wright, including credit card payments, emails, documents, and tweets. COPA said the evidence proved that the computer scientist's claim to be Satoshi Nakamoto was a "shameless lie." The judge will allow COPA to examine new evidence and ask Wright questions about the material if necessary. According to the tentative schedule announced by the court, the trial against Wright will last at least until February 13. Earlier on January 24, Craig Wright made a settlement offer to COPA members and all parties in the upcoming intellectual property lawsuit. Craig Wright agreed to give up the database rights and copyrights in BTC, BCH and ABC, and said that the settlement offer was intended to maintain the integrity of the initial development of the Bitcoin system while limiting the unnecessary costs of lengthy trials in the High Court.
