According to Decrypt, data from Coingecko shows that Bitcoin spot trading volume has totaled $721.1 billion so far this quarter. If September's trading volume is the same as that of July and August, it will mark the lowest quarterly trading volume since the first quarter of 2019. Quarterly trading volume hovered above $2 trillion for most of 2019 to 2023. In the past two months, Bitcoin trading volumes were $345.89 billion and $354.84 billion, respectively. If conditions remain the same and September's trading volume hovers around $350 billion, quarterly trading volume will be close to $1.05 trillion. If Ethereum's trading volume in September reaches about $220 billion, its cumulative quarterly trading volume will be slightly above $650 billion, the lowest level since 2019. In the fourth quarter of 2019, ETH spot trading totaled $740.64 billion.
