Wu said that according to Cryptonews, the Russian Ministry of Finance will sell the Bitcoin assets seized in the Infraud hacking case. The first batch will be about $10 million worth of Bitcoin from Marat Tambiev, a former investigator of the Investigative Committee. Marat Tambiev previously received a total of 1,032.1 BTC from the Infraud hacker group. Because Marat Tambiev stored Bitcoin in a decentralized manner, law enforcement agencies need to apply for court rulings for different wallets separately. Currently, the first batch of liquidated assets is stored in a Ledger Nano X hardware wallet.
