According to ChainCatcher, US technology giant Microsoft plans to invest $3 billion in two years to expand its cloud computing and artificial intelligence capabilities in India. The investment includes cooperation with INDIAai, an artificial intelligence-focused program of the Indian government, to provide artificial intelligence training for 500,000 people and build new data centers.

Additionally, Microsoft has signed strategic partnerships with RailTel, Apollo Hospitals, Bajaj Finserv, Mahindra Group, and upGrad, and will provide benefits of the Founders Hub program such as Azure credits, business resources, and mentorship to up to 1,000 AI startups in India.
