Is it better to have a heavy position or a light position?
My answer is that what suits you best is the best!
First: Your ability level. If you are very skilled at entering the market and can often jump in at the point where the market is about to explode, then you should seize the opportunity and take a heavy position. If your entry skills are weak, then a light position is definitely better, as a wider stop loss is more beneficial; otherwise, you will repeatedly hit your stop loss.
Second: Your level of desire. If your desire is high, then your position should definitely be heavier; if your desire is low, your position should be lighter.
Third: Your risk tolerance. For a single trade, how much loss can you accept? If you have a high tolerance, then your position will definitely be larger; if you cannot accept large drawdowns, then your position will certainly be lighter.
