Talk about the logic behind my buying: when to grab and when not to grab.

You shouldn't grab when the market just opened and the chips are not well controlled; the market maker can directly abandon the plate and move to the next one. The cost of the market maker abandoning is too low, and the uncertainty is too high if you grab at this time. You can refer to the previous example of Spore's market maker who crazily harvested when it just opened. They opened countless positions, and as soon as they were grabbed, they directly crashed the market.

You can grab when the market has already been controlled, and the stock has entered the public's view. It won't be easily abandoned, and the market maker just conducted market support during panic. At this time, you can build a position based on the market maker's support cost and grab a little bit of chips, whether you're doing a swing trade or following his support price, the risk-reward ratio is very high. The reason I dare to call it out at this time is also because during panic, the market maker hopes that market forces can help him support the market together; otherwise, if he can't support it, he will only move to the next stage to support. If he keeps failing to support, this market may just disappear.

Risks:

The risk here is that the market maker can still make a lot of profit even if he abandons the market at this position and doesn't care about the market's popularity or future. Also, this model cannot keep running indefinitely; it will come to an end.
