ChainDD (WeChat ID: ChainDD) January 9th news, outgoing SEC Chairman Gary Gensler said in an interview with Bloomberg TV on Wednesday that there is still much work to be done in regulating altcoins and intermediaries in the digital asset market.
Gensler believes that everyday investors still do not receive enough disclosures or information from digital asset companies. Under Gensler's leadership, the SEC has won several court cases against multiple crypto companies for evading registration and disclosure requirements, but has also lost several lawsuits. 'I have never seen a field so influenced by emotion, yet so indifferent to fundamentals,' Gensler added, expressing his belief that many crypto projects will not survive.
