CoinVoice has recently learned that Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin stated on X that Ethereum core development needs to prioritize better. He noted that if he had to choose between 'increasing the Blob target from 3 to 6' and 'other improvements in Pectra', he would prioritize the former.
Vitalik also discussed prioritization suggestions for projects like Fusaka and G*, stating that Blob expansion remains crucial, but he also highlighted the importance of improvements to the L1 layer EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine), particularly the transition from EOF to full AA through EIP-7701, as well as the introduction of the SIMD+EVMMAX instruction set and a moderate increase in Gas limits.
Vitalik also mentioned that the exploration of 'peerdas' is underway and suggested trying a more ambitious version to further drive Ethereum's technological innovation and optimization. [Original link]
