Czech National Bank (CNB) President Aleš Michl stated in an interview with CNN Prima News that he is considering purchasing a small amount of Bitcoin as part of a diversification strategy for foreign exchange reserves, but emphasized that this would not constitute a significant investment decision. The decision requires approval from the seven members of the CNB Board. CNB advisor Janis Aliapulios indicated that the bank currently has no plans to include crypto assets in its reserves, but Michl did not rule out the possibility of discussing this in the future. Meanwhile, the CNB will continue to advance its diversification plan by purchasing gold, aiming to increase the proportion of gold reserves to 5% of total assets by 2028. (Cointelegraph)
