According to DefiLlama data, the 24-hour decentralized exchange (DEX) trading volume on the Solana network has surpassed the total of Ethereum and Base.

Data shows that on January 6, the daily trading volume of Solana-based DEXs approached $3.8 billion, while Ethereum was $1.7 billion, and Ethereum's most popular Layer 2 scaling network Base was $1.2 billion.

Solana's total value locked (TVL) also exceeded that of Ethereum. According to DefiLlama data, in 2024, Solana's TVL grew by about five times, from approximately $1.4 billion to over $9.5 billion.
