As the high expectations for Bitcoin and altcoins continue for 2025, Bernstein analysts announced their forecasts for the end of the year.

Bernstein analysts have reiterated their expectation that Bitcoin will reach $200,000 this year, but that this forecast will only be made with the support of institutional investors, regardless of government demand.

Expectations of $200,000 for Bitcoin Continue!
Bernstein analysts have revived their $200,000 price target for Bitcoin, The Block reported.

Referring to Donald Trump’s proposed Bitcoin reserve plan for the US, analysts predict that Bitcoin will rise to $200,000 by the end of 2025, based solely on demand from institutional investors, excluding government purchases.

Analysts' expectations for 2025 include factors such as Bitcoin prices reaching $200,000, spot Bitcoin ETF net inflows exceeding $70 billion, the stablecoin market exceeding $500 billion, and positive regulatory developments.

Bernstein Analysts Highlight “Age of Eternity”
Bernstein analysts led by Gautam Chhugani stated that Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies will enter the “Age of Eternity” by 2025.

Analysts expect institutional adoption to continue to grow and spot ETF inflows to reach $70 billion. It is also predicted that Bitcoin and Ethereum will continue to gain ETF momentum, while an ETF announcement for Solana could be made by the end of the year.

According to analysts, the US announcement of a national Bitcoin reserve will lead to the start of a global race for dominance. However, it is emphasized that Bitcoin’s $200,000 target is based solely on institutional and corporate demand, not government demand.

Bitcoin buying is expected to increase through corporate treasuries and Bitcoin ETFs, which could cause a shift from short-term investors to long-term holders if Bitcoin falls below $100,000.

Crypto Regulations and Future Prospects
Analysts expect the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to resolve ongoing lawsuits against crypto companies and see more private crypto firms go public.

Ethereum (ETH): Institutional Interest Will Increase in 2025
Gautam Chhugani stated that Ethereum is on track to become an “institutional darling” that will attract the attention of institutional investors in 2025, despite its poor performance last year.

According to analysts, the 28% of Ethereum staked, the 3% acquired through ETFs, and the 7.5% locked in smart contracts will make ETH more attractive to traditional investors, which will push up the price of Ethereum.
