According to TechFlow news on January 6, as reported by CoinDesk, Dutch regulators granted EU MiCA licenses to the crypto platform MoonPay, digital asset management company BitStaete, Bitcoin Lightning Network-driven payment platform ZBD, and brokerage and clearing company Hidden Road, allowing them to operate in 27 EU countries.
MiCA requires companies to obtain a CASP license from any member state to operate throughout the EU. Additionally, Socios.com announced that it has obtained a Class 3 Virtual Financial Assets Act (VFAA) license issued by the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA).
