If a single L2 can handle parallel execution, it can use up all the blobspace and run every use case. More importantly, there are no infinite useful smart contracts, and there are only 6 important main smart contracts.
In this regard, Ethereum community member @ryanberckmans commented that there is not only a lack of imagination about the future L2, but also a lack of understanding of the current L2. Toly's post suggesting that "only 6 major smart contracts are important" should become one of the proudest, most ridiculous, and most bland predictions in the history of cryptocurrency.
