Musk makes a big move! Starship to launch Starlink satellites on a large scale
Musk is at it again! He stated that he is about to use Starship to launch Starlink satellites on a large scale, claiming this is alien-level technology that can change the game.
The Starlink V2 satellites launching in 2024 are much stronger than the first generation, with a capacity of 96Gbps, capable of meeting high bandwidth applications. The communication capacity of Starlink V3 has been further increased to 60Tbps, which is 20 times that of V2. The official Falcon rocket stated that each network launch of Starship can provide 60Tbps bandwidth, equivalent to launching 60 V3 satellites at once, exceeding the total capacity of more than 20 Falcon 9 launches of Starlink V2.
SpaceX also announced the 2024 Starlink achievements, having successfully launched over 7,000 satellites, serving 4.6 million users in 118 countries and regions, covering approximately 2.8 billion people. Land users can use it, and it can also be used on planes and ships, which is really impressive.
