I received a small surprise of $13,000 from a single coin airdrop, had a major surprise from hoarding coins around $4,000 to earn $40,000, but also faced the despair of contract liquidation with nothing to show for it. At the beginning of 2024, I received a small surprise from the #zeta airdrop. I created six accounts in the test net (zero investment, doing interactions daily), and received 3,125 zeta in each of the two major accounts, while the other smaller accounts received 135 each, totaling nearly 7,000 zeta at a peak price of $2.8. I sold around $13,000 when it hit $2. Here, I’d like to thank #zeta once again.
In April, I received a big surprise from hoarding coins #core. In November 2023, I built a position of 10,000 core coins at around $0.45 with $4,500. On April 2, 2024, it soared to a peak of $4.37, making my 10,000 core coins worth over $40,000, earning me hundreds of thousands of RMB. It truly felt like a dream...
In May, I woke up from a dream. Coming to May might be due to the money I made before, getting carried away and playing with contracts, encountering the meme coin #TURBO rising. I initially just wanted to short it because it was rising quickly, but unexpectedly it kept going up. Later, I invested all my funds thinking a domestic meme coin can't keep doubling forever... Eventually, I was crushed down to the ground, watching my account drop to zero in an instant. Hehe... I woke up, completely awake.
Throughout 2024, I received other airdrops as well, but they were mostly small airdrops not exceeding $3,000. Many were countered, leading me to consider giving up at one point, but I still persisted intermittently.
In 2024, I also entered the first-level dog-fighting. The first dog I fought was AIKA, and I directly made a tenfold profit. Some of the coins I invested in that were close to zero surprisingly started to rise recently, with SEND being the most representative one, which I once thought would hit zero. Since the first level was just a small investment, I treated it as a part of learning and playing with new things. Overall, I neither gained nor lost. I personally believe there are still great opportunities at the first level. Friends with rich experience in dog-fighting and sufficient capital can still take part to achieve further class transitions (like from A7 to A8); such transitions are relatively easier to achieve at the first level.
My goal for 2025 is still to aim for A7, mainly focusing on zero investment and spending as a secondary concern. After achieving the goal, the first thing is to improve my equipment, then enhance my professional knowledge in the web3 industry, including my English proficiency. Finally, I need to balance work and rest, engage in appropriate exercise, and find relaxation in life. Health is the foundation of everything; without health, earning A8, A9, A10, or A11 would be in vain.
