Ethereum on-chain data analysis shows that over the past two months, an average of more than 21,000 blobs were published daily, indicating a growing preference for L2 scaling solutions among users. The cost of the blob publishing process fluctuates with network demand, with related fees reaching approximately 4 million USD in the past month, paid in ETH and burned, affecting Ethereum's supply.
According to data from Ultrasound.money, blobs have become the main source of ETH burn on Ethereum in the past week, burning 453.24 ETH, surpassing Uniswap's burn during the same period. However, Uniswap remains the largest ETH burner in the past 30 days, contributing 4,681 ETH, while blobs burned 1,068 ETH. These data indicate that the popularity of blobs has had a significant impact on the Ethereum ecosystem.
