THENA is a public good co-owned by the protocol and its users, both of whom contribute to THENA's status as a leading AMM. By addressing Solidly's fundamental shortcomings and adding its own innovations, THENA tackles these challenges and presents an attractive proposition.

Recall that the fundamental innovation of Solidly is to link protocol emissions to the fees generated, rather than simply incentivizing liquidity. THENA has redesigned the Solidly codebase to ensure the protocol operates as intended, allowing voters to appropriately compensate liquidity providers for impermanent loss while aligning with the core goal of the protocol—namely, to increase fee generation.

Thena (THE) token supply

  • 19% of the initial supply for the veTHE protocol airdrop is specifically allocated for airdrop protocols that indicate their willingness to participate in our liquidity layer.

  • 25% of the initial supply for THE/veTHE user airdrop is distributed to regular users of existing BNB Chain protocols, as well as new users joining the chain through THENA.

  • 9% of the initial supply for THE/veTHE airdrop for Minters is allocated to the NFT minters and can be claimed upon the launch of THENA.

  • 25% of the initial supply for ecosystem grants is specifically allocated to a specific fund that will support a wide range of projects aimed at accelerating THENA's growth.

  • 18% of the initial supply has been allocated to the team to involve them in the long-term success of THENA.

  • 4% of the initial supply for initial liquidity providers has already paired with $BUSD and/or $BNB to provide sufficient liquidity upon launch.
