Musk is one of the most watched figures in the world today, and of course, he is also one of the most favored to stir things up online.

Today, he is once again stirring up the internet.

Musk changed the display name of his X (formerly Twitter) profile to 'Kekius Maximus' and also replaced his profile picture with the famous 'Pepe the Frog' meme image.

This tech mogul (or one of the hidden big shots in the crypto world?)'s new display image shows 'Pepe the Frog' dressed in golden armor, holding a video game controller. This image has been popular online for years and has been used in various posts symbolizing humor and satire.

'Kekius Maximus' is a cryptocurrency token inspired by memes, operating on multiple blockchain platforms such as Ethereum and Solana. It has recently become a well-known entity in the cryptocurrency market, attracting the attention of speculators and enthusiasts.

As of December 27, the price of Kekius was approximately $0.005667, soaring 497.56% within 24 hours.

Currently, the connection between Musk's profile name change and cryptocurrency is unclear. Perhaps he just acted on a whim, but it will certainly raise suspicions among those in the know.

Because he has endorsed cryptocurrencies multiple times over the past few years, the most famous meme coin—Dogecoin and another Shiba Inu coin Shib have both seen crazy surges due to Musk's support.

Media reports indicate that Musk made a significant fortune from the surge of Dogecoin.

This time, he wrote in a post on X, 'Kekius Maximus will soon reach level 80 in hardcore PoE.'

Not only does Musk often show interest in cryptocurrencies, but Trump himself has also publicly expressed the idea of incorporating cryptocurrencies into the U.S. Federal Reserve.

Recently, the elected president of the United States, Trump, announced that the owner of X would lead the 'Department of Government Efficiency' (DOGE) under his administration. DOGE was initially proposed by Musk and praised by Trump as a way to cut government bureaucracy.

The department's acronym is 'DOGE'—the name of the cryptocurrency Dogecoin that Musk often touts.
